Simplex Strainers

Simplex strainers are used to remove damaging debris from liquid flow that can be interrupted for cleaning baskets, in batch process etc. Baskets are designed for an open area straining ratio of at least 6:1, which means less operating costs to clean the baskets. The heavy duty wall thickness offers lower life cycle costs. S&P simplex strainers can be supplied in ANSI, DIN or Navy Drilled to MIL-F-20042D flanges. Material can be supplied in bronze, aluminum, aluminum bronze, steel, and stainless steel. Our strainers have been shock tested to MIL-S-901D.
