Y-Strainers

Y-Strainers are used in removing solids from liquid, gas, or steam applications in small volumes. Our Y-Strainers can be fitted with a blow off connection on the cover, to permit cleaning screen without removing the cover. S & P Y-Strainers operate from 150-2500 psig with temperatures exceeding 1000 Deg F. Our Y-Strainer can be provided in either bronze ASTM B61, cast steel ASTM-A-216, chrome moly ASTM-A-217, or Stainless Steel ASTM A 351, 304, 316. Listed below are our different lines of Y-Strainers to suit your needs. All Y-Strainers have been shock tested to MIL-S-901D. Drawings are available upon request.

• Model 141B Bronze Flange Y, and Model 141F Cast Steel Y  1/2” to 10"

• Model 142SW Cast Steel, Stainless Steel, Chrome Moly, Socket Weld Ends 1/2" to 10"    

• Model 140SB Bronze Silbraze Ends 1/4” to 2-1/2” (To Drawing 803-841499 Rev L)

• Model 140 UESW Union End Socket Weld Bronze 3/8" to 2-1/2" Tail Pieces in 70/30, 90/10, or Silbraze

• Model 142BW Cast Steel, Chrome Moly, Stainless Steel, Butt-Weld Ends 1" to 10"
